The Funeral Meal Ministry at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church offers a meal after the funeral mass for family and friends of parishioners who have lost a loved one.

Volunteers of this Ministry set up, serve, clean up, and/or provide a side dish, casserole, salad, or desert for the family after the Funeral Liturgy.

These ministers provide kindness to a grieving family through an act of generosity that gives comfort to the family by way of a warm meal and a hospitable environmentduring this family's time of greatest need.

These Ministers of the Funeral Meal & Reception Ministry participate in this Ministry as a way to serve Christ Our Lord and as an opportunity for them to live out the Corporal and Spiritual works of Mercy.
